Welcome to Reading with Mrs. Roettger!

Welcome to Blair Pointe Upper Elementary School! My name is Dennett Roettger and I am a Reading Specialist for our 3rd-6th grade students. I am a proud graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I also have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with Emphasis in Reading. I have proudly served Peru Community Schools over the last 19 years as a second and third grade teacher before transitioning to a Reading Specialist. I work intensely with third and fourth grade students and their teachers as an intervention to provide extra instruction and support in reading.
