Mrs. Wylam's 4th Grade High Ability

Welcome to Blair Pointe!  I am excited to be a part of your child’s 4th grade high ability experience.  I look forward to each school year and anticipate that it will be a successful one.

I would like to briefly introduce myself.  I was born and raised in Peru.  I graduated from Peru High School.  I also graduated from Indiana University Kokomo with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in May of 2007 shortly before the first birthday of my daughter, Zoe.  Once Zoe entered kindergarten, I started working at Peru Community Schools.  Zoe is continuing her education at Purdue pursuing a degree in pharmaceutical sciences.  I am married to my husband, Austin. 

This year your child will be learning many new academic concepts as well as developing organization skills that will help them become more responsible students.  I believe that each student is capable of success with hard work and a cooperating spirit.  I, therefore, have very high expectations for all of my students and will work diligently to help them achieve their goals.

The move to 4th grade will be challenging.  It will include more expectations, subjects, and assignments, but hopefully; it will be a great experience.
