Welcome to Mrs. Zak's 5th Grade!

Welcome to my 5^th grade class!!  I am excited about this year and look forward to working with you to achieve your child’s academic success.

I worked for Peru Community Schools for over 10 years as an Instructional Aide and continued my schooling as I worked to get my degree in teaching.  I graduated from Western Governors University in May 2022 and was hired by PCS as a 5^th grade teacher soon after.

I have been married for 22 years to my wonderful husband, Joe and have two beautiful daughters, Jordan and Samantha.  I will also be gaining a son-in-law, Evan, in November of this year.  I have two cats, Milo and Babey, and a Chiweenie dog named Rascal.

This year is going to be amazing, and I look forward to teaching your child. 😊
