Students at Blair Pointe Upper Elementary started back to school on August 7. Students and teachers are ready to get the year going. 6th grade teacher, Lisa Donathan, said, "I am excited to get back to teaching and meeting new faces. Can't wait to see what the year brings." Blair Pointe is returning veteran staff and adding new teachers to the building. Welcome 3rd grade teacher, Jacob Loftus. This is his first year teaching. Joining also with 3 years experience, 6th grade teacher, Melody Hood.

Alicia Maggart, Special Education teacher, has been honored as Blair Pointe's Teacher of the Year and also named Teacher of the Year for PCS.
Andrea Barker has been named Director of the Year for PCS. She is the nurse at Blair Pointe.
Bree Meeks was awarded Support Staff of the Year. Miss Meeks is an instructional assistant at Blair Pointe.

PJSHS art students upgrade the playground at Blair Pointe.
PJSHS students  did their yearly “give back with your talent”. Brighter 4-Square Blocks, a refocusing circle, and activities to do around the outside of the blacktop. Blair Pointe students are going to enjoy the new activities.
